At Swanwick, we focus on evidence informed design. Our Night Swannies are developed to reduce specific wavelengths of blue light associated with evening light exposure.
Our lenses undergo independent testing to verify their spectral filtration performance and ensure they block the intended blue light ranges.
Night Swannies have also been evaluated in independent research examining the effects of reduced evening blue light exposure on sleep related outcomes and next day performance measures. These studies reported improvements in certain sleep related factors when blue light exposure was reduced in the evening.
