You can wear Focus (Previously Day) Swannies in the evening, but they are not specifically designed to support sleep.
Focus lenses are calibrated to reduce a portion of higher energy blue light while still allowing some blue light to pass through. This balance is ideal for daytime use, when blue light exposure helps support alertness and normal circadian function.
In the evening, however, reducing a greater portion of blue light may be beneficial. Sleep Swannies are designed for this purpose. Their amber lenses significantly reduce blue light within the 400 to 500nm range, including wavelengths commonly associated with melatonin suppression.
While Focus lenses may still support visual comfort at night, they do not provide the same level of evening blue light reduction as Sleep Swannies.
If your goal is to optimize your wind down routine before bed, Sleep Swannies are the more suitable option.
