Swannies are not designed, tested, or marketed as driving glasses.
As with any eyewear, it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure their vision meets local driving regulations and allows for safe vehicle operation at all times.
Focus (Previously Day)
Focus Day Swannies are 100% UV rated and block 100% of UV light below 400nm. Because they are not tinted or polarized, they do not reduce brightness or glare from direct sunlight.
They may be worn during daytime driving at your discretion, provided visibility feels clear and comfortable. If glare reduction is needed, dedicated sun protection eyewear is recommended.
Relax
Relax lenses are classified as a light Category 1 tint with high visible light transmission. However, tinted lenses may affect perceived brightness depending on lighting conditions and individual sensitivity.
We do not recommend wearing tinted lenses while driving at night, in low visibility conditions, or where maximum luminance is required. If visibility feels reduced, distorted, or uncomfortable, remove them immediately and switch to clear lenses.
Sleep (Previously Night)
Sleep Swannies are not suitable for driving. They are designed for nighttime indoor use and significantly reduce visible light transmission.
