To place a custom prescription order for your Swannies, you’ll need to provide the following:
1. A Valid Prescription
Please upload a clear photo or PDF of your current spectacle (eyeglasses) prescription.
Note: Contact lens prescriptions are different and cannot be used for glasses.
2. Your Pupillary Distance (PD)
PD measures the distance between your pupils and is essential for accurate lens alignment.
-
If it’s not included on your prescription, you can request it from your optometrist.
-
You can also measure it yourself using our PD measurement guide.
3. Segment Height (For Progressive Lenses Only)
If you're ordering progressive lenses, we’ll also need your segment height, which tells us where the lens transitions from distance to reading vision.
-
This measurement is specific to the frame you’ll be wearing, so a segment height from a different pair of glasses may not be accurate for your Swannies.
-
If you already have a pair of Swannies, you can bring them to your optician to have the segment height measured.
-
You may opt for a default segment height, but for best results, we strongly recommend getting a custom measurement.
- Alternatively, we offer a Frame Trial Program if you’d like to get this measurement done before ordering.
If you're unsure about any part of your prescription, we always suggest contacting your optometrist for clarification.
